When beginning the game, know that there are so many new ores awaiting you in the Mines. First build a shelter with wood and start mining right after you craft your First Slime Armor! The Slime Armor is very useful in pre-hardmode — it's stronger that Wood Armor and not as costly as Iron Armor. After that, you can battle the Desert Emperor, an early-game boss that's easier than the Eye of Cthulhu. By beating it you gain very useful weapons and other loot to help you on your way! After that, you will be ready for everything in Terraria, because this mod makes helps with other various armors and weapons that you will find throughout your journey.
